The blue bins formerly used for recycling
Unwanted blue bins, which were formerly used for recycling, may be collected by Auckland Council if there is sufficient demand from Hobsonville Point residents.
Council introduced larger green recycling bins last year, replacing the blue bins with yellow lids. While it had advised that the blue bins would be reused for a subscription rubbish collection service, some residents have requested that they are instead taken away.
