The Society has nothing to do with filming of TV3’s The Block, but for those of you who are interested, most filming on the site at the corner of Buckley Avenue and Frances Bryers Road will wind up this week.
Various ‘challenges’ for competitors have been filmed in and around the Point, and our neighbourhood is looking very handsome in aerial shots.
The weekends are seeing quite a few strollers walking by to check the site out for themselves. Nearby householders report very little disruption to normal life. Meanwhile, the show continues to go out several nights a week and the houses will be auctioned late in September.
