On Wednesday 5 August from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, Harbour Sport ActivAsian is putting on an Community Information Evening at Harbour Sport Sports House, North Harbour Stadium.
The two-hour session will consist of a short introduction/presentation on Auckland Council and the Local Board Plans, a group discussion/Q&A and the evening will conclude with a shared dinner and networking.
The aim of the evening is to introduce the basic functions of Auckland Council, raise awareness of the Local Board Plans and what they mean, and for the Korean and Chinese participants to further spread the word and encourage their networks to participate in the consultation phase.
We envision the evening to be informal, community-based and an opportunity to connect with the Asian community and promote the Local Board Plans.
