It was a fabulous day at the Chichester Cottage Open Day meeting local residents. The Habitat Hobsonville crew were there showcasing the work that they do, along with weeding around the Cottage. They are a dedicated group of all ages and enjoyed some well deserved cake supplied by New World.
It was great to get the doors open so that passers-by could have a look inside. Of particular interest was the history, which is displayed around the cottage. We met a local historian with some great ideas for expanding this, so we look forward to developing this further.
Local musician, Pat Kohika sang us through the morning with some well known, foot tapping tunes.
