Plans to supply kerbside garden waste bins for a short time around the Point are under way, giving residents a chance to weed, trim and prune and get rid of the clippings. This is a heads-up to let you know that Queen’s Birthday weekend (June 2-4) is the time zone we’re looking at, with the long weekend giving everyone more time than usual to get out and tidy up – though if the weather is looking dodgy we may delay.
