GPs are open for business. Call your local family doctor (GP) if you need care.
It’s important that:
- You or your family do not neglect potentially serious health conditions because of concerns around COVID-19
- Keep your child’s immunisations up-to-date. You can do this at all stages of lockdown. If your child is due to be immunised, please contact your GP
- If it’s an emergency, go to your local hospital Emergency Department it is open.

2020 Influenza Immunisation Campaign
Did you know that all children aged under 18 (including international students) who meet the influenza vaccination eligibility criteria can receive a free vaccination, regardless of their immigration and citizenship status. To check eligibility, you can call 0800IMMUNE (0800 466 863) and speak to one of the nurse advisors from 9.00am to 4.30pm, Mon – Fri.
